Currently it is 2:56am. I’m lying in bed in my boxer briefs, fully aware that I should be asleep right now--as I have work tomorrow morningrather than birthing the blog that is to be known as “Bri_n."
Im unsure if I should blame it on laziness, or the sheer mountain of tasks on my plate that causes me to be buried in avalanches, due to the sound waves of me crying from stress, while being loud enough to trigger the avalanches to come roaring down the mountain slopes, BUT I have been meaning to start this blog for a while. To say the least, this will be interesting.

To begin this thrilling ride (as you can see above, I am in no means eccentric in my ways of story telling 😉) I feel introductions are in order.
Im your average 21 year old gay sculptor from Vermont, studying at a wonderful art school, working two jobs (one glamorous, one not so much), who hasn’t learned how to say no, in the sense that I am a people pleaser to the nines. Besides art, my passions are drinking coffee or beer or both, making smoothies, pretending I read more than I do (Ive got a pretty gnarly bookshelf going), listening to that latest and greatest (Beyoncé fulfilling both of those categories), pretending the future doesn’t exist, making some graphic designs, and as of recently: starting a blog.

I was born on Long Island, New York, and lived there for a hot minute (7 years) until my family moved to Vermont, offering a different change of pace that Im glad happened. I am currently living in the outskirts of Boston in the moderately grungy neighborhood of Allston, which I am low-key in love with. Im finishing up my final semester at MassArt and figuring out what is next on the list of my life. After applying to Graduate school for Communication Design, I will wait to find out what happens there, then decide whats next after that, but something tells me I am going to become a very successful bottle collector.

Im single and too busy to mingle, but the tinder game is on fire (not that I ever meet up with anyone). Through this blog I will keep yall updated on any dating goings-on.
Just a sneak preview of whats to come: today I made eye contact with a dreamboat of a barista, and I got an “I hate my job, It is snowing, Mondaysam I right, Im a middle child, How are you, I got hot sauce in my bagswag" face scrunched/kinda smile, type of look thrown slyly in my direction from him. Instinctively I mimicked his look in a feeble attempt to relate, freaked out, and looked away awkwardly. I then debated my morals on giving my number to strangers, for the rest of the day, then realized I should havebut by that point I was long gone.
You could say I’m quite the man-charmer.

On another note: I make sculptures for school—canya believe it? If not, perhaps the image below will convince you. Im way into creating nonrepresentational/abstract artwork. You can check out some of that work on my Behance or my website but TBH my website hasn’t been updated in a while so the behance might be more worth your time.

For Halloween this past year, my roommate, Johnny, and I dressed up as rave girls with outfits sourced entirely from CVS, and one time my apartment had a "Tinder/Friday the 13th Mashup" party theme. Needless to say, Ive got some good stories up my sleeve so stick around.
Im waaaay excited for this!
Check back soon
